Omnipresent yet secretive
Sexually transmitted diseases
Sexually transmitted diseases have the bad habit of sometimes going unnoticed and are therefore usually transmitted unwittingly through sexual intercourse. Furthermore, the number of possible STDs is huge: Most common in Germany are chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhoea, genital herpes, genital warts, hepatitis B and C, and HIV. Rapid tests and laboratory tests help us diagnose such conditions and identify the most appropriate treatment.
